FORTHCOMING Summer Apiary Visits
For newcomers to the format, it’s a weekend afternoon gathering, starting at 2.30pm, with an hour or so in the apiary inspecting the colonies. This is followed by tea, coffee, cakes and refreshments. Anyone who attends is asked to contribute their baking or buying skills.
It is usually someone other than the apiary host who looks through the hives. The demonstrator for June will be Becky Champion. Demonstrators for July and August will be confirmed closer to the time.
