About Us

Westerham Beekeepers is a branch of the Kent Beekeepers Association.

Our aim is to promote the craft of bee-keeping by helping to educate both bee-keepers and the general public.

We are mostly practising, amateur bee-keepers, though membership is open to interested members of the public.

We are about 100 members interested in bees and beekeeping mainly in the area surrounded by Biggin Hill, Tatsfield, Oxted, Edenbridge, Hever, Bough Beech and Brasted.

We meet during the winter months in Westerham usually for lectures by visiting specialists and our own members. During the active beekeeping season we meet for demonstrations by experienced beekeepers in our members’ apiaries.

If you are interested in bees or beekeeping you are welcome to attend any of our meetings. Visit the Events page for details of the programme and where we meet.

The yearly subscription includes an award winning monthly journal ‘BeeCraft’ which includes articles with beginners in mind. Insurance against statutory notifiable disease for three colonies and public liability cover is also included. The subscription year runs from 1st October. If you would like more information or have any questions about joining the branch please contact the Membership Secretary.  If you would like more information or have any questions about joining the branch please contact the Membership Secretary: Robert Ambroziak, Phone: 07403 538724 or  or send an email.
